Publications Ethics
Jurnal Emunah is committed to maintaining academic integrity, preventing ethical violations, and upholding the highest standards of scholarly publication. This publication ethics statement is based on the internationally recognized guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
1. Authors’ Responsibilities

Ensure the originality of manuscripts and declare that the submitted work is an original research or study, not plagiarism.

Do not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously (no multiple submissions).

Properly cite all sources and provide appropriate attribution.

Disclose any potential conflicts of interest (if applicable).

Adhere to the journal’s writing guidelines and manuscript requirements.
2. Editors’ Responsibilities

Evaluate manuscripts objectively based on academic relevance and scientific quality, without discrimination based on authors’ background (race, gender, religion, nationality, affiliation).

Guarantee the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and not misuse them for personal purposes.

Maintain the integrity of the publication process by avoiding conflicts of interest.

Make the final publication decision only after the peer review process is completed.
3. Reviewers’ Responsibilities

Review manuscripts objectively, fairly, and in a timely manner according to their area of expertise.

Provide constructive feedback to improve the quality of manuscripts.

Maintain confidentiality of the reviewed manuscripts.

Not use the contents of the manuscript for personal gain or research without the author’s permission.
4. Publisher’s Responsibilities (Yayasan Shema Abadi Indonesia)

Ensure academic freedom for editors and authors.

Provide a transparent, fair, and accountable publication system.

Support the integrity of scholarly publications by ensuring all articles are processed in accordance with ethical standards.

Provide open access to all published articles.
5. Plagiarism Policy

All submitted manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.

Manuscripts with a similarity index exceeding the acceptable threshold (generally 20%) will be rejected or returned to authors for revision.
6. Retraction Policy
An article may be retracted if:

There is evidence of publication ethics violation (e.g., plagiarism, data manipulation).

Significant methodological or analytical errors are discovered.

The article is found to be a duplicate publication elsewhere.
